Characteristic
a) A natural sucrose sweetener, presented in the form of solid crystals, the Refined Granulated Sugar is obtained through the spontaneous crystallization of a refined sugar solution. It stands out for its light
color and clearness, and it is considered as a “Premium” type sugar.
b) The sugar is produced from Crystal Sugar dissolution, free of fermentation, without land matter, parasites, animal or vegetal wastes.
ICUMSA 45 REFINED SUGAR
Formulation C12H22O11 (Sucrose molecule)
Sucrose also known as sugar is a kind of carbohydrates consisting of one glucose and fructose
molecules. This is produced from the plant photosynthesis.

Note 1: Internal methods of sugar analysis of Guarani are based on ABNT, Coca-Cola, ICUMSA and ITAL
(Food Technology Institute) references.
Note 2: If the Colifoms 45°C result is “present”, the maximum specified value is found in parentheses.
Note 3: The sugar is according to the microbiological standard established by Resolution RDC 12 of
January 2nd, 2001 from Anvisa, and the limits of heavy metals established by EB 2042 of March 1990
from ABNT, not expressing a hazard to consumer’s health.
Note 4: The product is according to the pesticides limits established by Codex Alimentarius
Commission (Codex Standard for Sugars - Codex Stan 212-1999) for sugar cane.
